It usually takes place in the legs and in both extremities. According to <strong>World Health Organization (WHO) <\/strong>is a <em>&quot;Diffuse non-focal inflammation of the fatty tissue generally located on the legs, thighs, hips and upper arms&quot;. It should not be confused with lymphedema. &quot;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lymphedema can affect both <strong>mens <\/strong>like <strong>women<\/strong>, although the female sex is more common. It is common for it to appear after pregnancy or menopause.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lipedema should not be directly related or treated with diet and physical exercise only, since it is not a consequence of being overweight.
